Fall ‘25 #4

This start track was in a new location with multiple distractions. It was aged 30 minutes. Walk up was together and calm. I am trying to use consistent language as we approach the flag with “Ready Steady Find it” at the flag. Thought at the start he came to the track well and was especially pleased with how he came back to the track after loss of scent at the turn. Article indication on second leg was good. Did not acknowledge or eat the FD. Loss of attention on second leg but was able to refocus and finish the track.

  1. Nice start. I like that you are playing line but remember to hustle up the line to 10 ft after he commits. It is hard to see how far back you are. But as we introduce new things to him, you will want to be close to him. He wasn't particularly jazzed about his articles today but dont stress over it. Continue to pet and play before offering ham.
