Fall ‘25 #2
Rainy drizzly and cool, two early AM tracks Laid straight line 60 yd track first. It started in tall grass/weeds then the middle half of the track was in short grass (scuffed and baby stepped) final short portion in tall grass weeds. Second track was a start track in tall grass weeds. I laid it and walked back to the car, got Otis and ran it. Walked together up to the start flag. Not sure what distracted him on the first leg but he did get back to work found the article on that leg, made a nice turn and found the end article. Went back to the car and waited 10 minutes to run the straight line track I laid first. Again, walked quietly together up to the start flag coming in at an angle. When he hit the short grass portion of the track his pull on the line increased noticeably. When he got to the tall grass he started whining. I called his name, walked up the line, said unh unh go find it and he went back to tracking. The article was only a short distance into this tall grass so a great reward for returning to the track. The video unfortunately timed out right in the middle of the whining “correction”
